Unnatural Links

  David Jones: Ive just had a manual spam action revoked on a site after several reconsideration requests, I got the message from Google saying it was revoked however under manual actions for the site I still see this message:
  
  "Unnatural links from your site
  Google detected a pattern of unnatural, artificial, deceptive, or manipulative outbound links on pages on this site. This may be the result of selling links that pass PageRank or participating in link schemes"
  
  and the PR hasnt gone back up to waht it was before which it usually does once the manual spam action has been revoked, anyone know whats going on here?

  Nevyana Karakasheva: wait for a few days - if the message does not update - send the reconsideration request once again , explaining the issue (that you have been notified that your penalty has been lifted but the dashboard does not reflect the change).

  Tim Capper: I dont think they are Updating PR anymore either.

  It sometimes does not reflect the changes immediately, wait for few hour and check again

  Jim Munro: The message appears to be related to links going OUT of your site, not coming into it, David. If you have been selling links they generally reduce visibility of the site and reduce the visible PR if there is any.

  David Jones: Yes it was about OBLs and the culprits were some old guest posts from a while back with some spammy links in, Ive had this before and each time the PR goes back up to what it originally was right after the manual action is lifted, I'll give it a few days and see what happens anyway
