Re-structuring a website

Hi Guys,

i really need your help today!

i am structuring a website today and trying to get it right for long term. There is a business abc.com.au and they sell xyz products and then do repairs in all cities of australia.

i am thinking about giving it a structure of
www.abc.com.au/xyz/repairs/sydney
www.abc.com.au/xyz/repairs/melbourne
and so on

am i doing the right thing here?

it may sound silly but i need to confirm it. Thanks a lot in advance

  • Krish Purnawarman: My 2 cents is; only if there is a reason to have it separated like that. Existing in many cities means many pages, if these pages only have G maps and addresses, these type of thin content pages may flood your website compared to the real thick content pages reducing its worth and you may find that they're submissions doesn't get indexed. Unless each branch have some original valuable content for the users, galleries, other info, then i would just have one page with one map that has the location of each city branch on the map of australia and all the address listed in there as well. I think one of Matt cuts videos mention a case such as this, don't keep your content pages thin. Hope this helps!
  • Yogesh Dhawan: Every page will have some photos and minimum 300 words content. ;
  • Krish Purnawarman: Are you hoping to use each city page as a landing page for city+repair queries?
  • Jim Munro: Adding to +Krish Purnawarman's response. I think this is a long-discredited tactic, +Yogesh Dhawan ;
