The PageRank we see isn't updated since 6 December 2013. Therefore pagerank doesn't say anything. ;

Furthermore, a high pagerank can mean that a domain has spammy links. These spammy links can hurt your site if you 301 re-direct it.
PromozSEO: We see some PR and Google is internally counting some other PR, which can be ;less or ;more than what we see. So I completely agree with +Edwin Jonk ;and my answer would be same, NO.
