  Kiran varma: simple they subscribe there own blog once see and check keywords and search for keyword placing of there site and they cointously send traffic to same link form google and doing that improves there rank also they used to check there keyword rank and it use to increse daily and rreach in 1stpag 2 place this how they spam so can google find this spam ;

  Ammon Johns: That doesn't work Kiran.  ;They may think it does, and they may have by chance created good enough pages to rank well, but their clicking through does nothing to help.
  
  Let them keep wasting time on that, and look for what really is making it rank, and spend your time on that part while they waste time clicking away :)

  Also, did you make sure to be logged out, or is personalized search putting your friends higher in search just for you

  Ammon Johns: +Edwin Jonk ;basically, there are people who believe that Google use clickthrough data to the extent that if they select their site from the results for certain keyword searches, it will make their site rank higher, eventually to a number 1 slot.
  
  Obviously, this is true 'voodoo SEO' with no basis in reality whatsoever.  ;Google would only use click-through data in this way in agregate, and only where they were certain the data was clean (i.e. a known genuine user) based on cookies or login.  ;The very act of trying to have their click-spamming undetected makes their clicks worthless and uncountable.
  
  They would need literally thousands of genuine individual users to raise their positions in this way, and even then, the clickthrough data is not a sole factor.  ;Google have over 300 ranking factors.  ;Trying to use just one of them and hoping to outweight 319 others is just a special level of stupid.
  
  Unfortunately, there are still a lot of people out there with that exact special level of stupid, who click the results just enough that Google personalizes making that one site they like easier to find just for them, and for them alone.  ;Which makes them think it is working.  ;Gotta love how some myths keep going.
