  • Blade S: You need to know exactly what algorithm affected you. Don't start changing things without knowing 100%.

The Pigeon update is still a mystery. ; No one really knows what the next step is, and I think Google is still playing with it.

The only thing you can do is to make sure that you have good content, keywords, and your location is found in your titles, meta descriptions, headings, content, etc.

If the things I've pointed out above are already optimized on your site, I suggest you wait a little bit until experts dig more into the situation and find more solid information.

In the future, use a tool like http://www.barracuda-digital.co.uk/panguin-tool/. It will show you after what update your site started to drop (it's not just for the Penguin update).
  • Michael Tigulo: thanks +Blade S ;.. my site is still in search engine like if I put the url of my site is also found in google but the rankings went down. . but i am not sure about if you site was affected in algorithm and the rankings went down, but the site still found in google search results if I put the url of my site. so doesn't mean if my site still index in google it's not penalize?
  • Blade S: +Michael Tigulo A site doesn't appear in Google's search results if it's banned. It can appear if it's only penalized. A penalty only drops a site's rankings.

A lot is going on with the Pigeon update... some sites were not ranking good, but now they are, and some sites were ranking good, but now they aren't. No one really has solid information about what's going on and what the next step should be.

I think Google is still working on this, testing and improving things. No one knows for sure because they're acting like CIA as usual.

Like I said above, the only thing you can do for now is to make sure that your site is optimized for local searches amongst other general optimization parts.

Make sure you have your location in your title, description, headings (especially H1), content, etc. Don't overdo it though, so you won't get in trouble with Panda.
  • Michael Tigulo: thanks +Blade S ;.. I add you you here in g+ and I hope we can chat and I would like to ask something about my site if you are not busy. Thanks

You're welcome. Yeah, when I'll have some free time we could talk about your site.
