Remembering an old tactic of RSS feed submissions

Hey, I was just remembering an old tactic of RSS feed submissions. I haven`t used it in years and understand it is considered spam now. However, I`m just wondering if anyone is using them in any capacity for anything or should they just be disabled on blogs to prevent spammers from harvesting content?

  • Michael Zittel: Christine Hansen Thanks. So, you are using them for yourself to quickly get news?

  • Michael Martinez: Some of our sites still get a lot of traffic from feed reading apps. RSS feeds are far from dead.
