  Craig Layne: In the bio section of articles I write on websites I own, I always link back to my personal website. Now that guest posting is frowned upon, should I remove the links back to my personal page?
  
  Example, the text "Craig Layne" linked in bio section:
  www(dot)movieguys(dot)org/rat-commercial-ax-men-the-strain-2/

  Jean Sam Denis: I reckon you should not worry. Providing a link towards the author's page should not be considered as spam.
  Besides, in my opinion, only major websites are impacted.

  David Harry: Yea, yer over thinking it brother. The whole guest blogging thing is about crap locales (posting on crap blogs) and targeted anchors. If you're writing on trusted sites and using your name, brand or company URL in the bio links, then there's nothing to worry about
