Hey guys, got a brain twister SEO question for you.
My company is a service provider with 50 locations in the UK. Each location has a google+ page and a corresponding pin on Google maps with reviews, branded photos, etc.
We also have another website, under a different brand name. We use this website to sell the exact same services at a reduced rate for group buy websites such as groupon.
The powers that be want to list this second brand on Google maps at the same locations as our first brand. I believe it is possible if we use different phone numbers, brand name and place the pin in a slightly different long and lat.
However, my concerns are that we would run the risk of being spotted by competitors and being reported for `duplicate` listings and risk losing listings for BOTH brands. Also, surely if both locations rank for a search term, both brands would be competing with each other for price.
I shared my concerns, but our PPC expert thinks there is a way to do this via PPC adwords with no risk. I am due to debate the issue today and would appreciate any advice anyone has in reverse engineering this solution he is proposing so that I can prepare my response.
Any ideas guys?
Thanks.?
