Does using a pen name require a change in Google Search Console.

Hi guys!

I`ve recently started going by a pen name on one of my older sites. I changed the user profile in WP, but that`s really all I`ve done. Is there anything I need to do in GWMT? Does it even matter?

This is the first time I`ve had to deal with a name change, so I really have no clue what the proper steps are. Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks!?

Edwin Jonk: As far as I know the webmaster console is connected to your Google account. If that doesn't change, it doesn't matter.
