  • Saurabh Rawat: are breadcrumbs ranking factor for mobile site?
  • Collin Davis: Breadcrumbs help users navigate the site and also help pass link equity. In short, having breadcrumbs improves interlinking between site pages which is beneficial.

    From an SEO perspective, it gives a positive effect but I wouldn't go as far as saying that it is a ranking factor.
  • Saurabh Rawat: thanks +Collin Davis ;
  • Micah Fisher-Kirshner: For the most part, factors for the mobile site is based off of the desktop layout, with exceptions around very specific mobile-related areas.

    Google gives more leeway with how you build the mobile version, so if you find that you don't want breadcrumbs on mobile (in the same form), it won't affect your rankings.
  • Chase Reiner: I recommend bread crumbs. I read somewhere a while back that it's encouraged by search engines (not sure if it's ranking factor, probably not) and more importantly it helps users.
