Knowledge Graph on steroids
The article argues that the current Knowledge Graph is to limited because:
" the Knowledge Graph is fueled by Freebase.com, a community-curated database that merges many data sources; and while "Freebase is large, " the presentation says it`s "still very incomplete, " and "we need automatic knowledge base construction methods." "
AJ Kohn makes some observations:
Because sites aren`t marked up (schema.org): " The vast majority instead come from Google crawling the HTML tree of sites - the unstructured data that they then turn into something sensible. "
Instead of an explicit mark up (rel author) " Google wants to have some sort of author or expertise-based ranking, but wants to do it through entities and not explicit markup "
Furthermore the Knowledge Vault makes better link predictions between entities: " Google is able to better flesh out entities by understanding what types of facts they should expect to find. "?

thanks so much for the commentry Edwin Jonk. These days it is getting really burdensome to read so many articles in a day, so I tend to avoid clicking on many links when I am not really sure of what to expect from the title. And that is despite they are written by professionals I respect.
This makes a lot of sense. I sort of assumed something like this was up as soon as I learned Google had stopped #authorshipmarkup . Believe it or not. :)
Thanks for the share. And awesome show on DSQ100 by the way. :) ?
