  Stockbridge Truslow: Group expertHonestly, I`m not sure that the Google site does you a ton of good in that way. It`s not going to hurt, but... it`s not really a special ranking factor. I have one client who had one of those so we keep it up and occasionally link to it - but I don`t see it getting any advantage that I can notice or measure by having that Google site. And we`ve never seen need to create one for any client who had another site.

  Dahlian R. Lamy: Hi Anjali. As Stockbridge stated, use the URL for the website you want people to go to. This is generally your main website.
  
  The Google site is another digital asset for your business and can also rank for various search terms. In the About section of the Google site, you should include a link back to your main website.
  
  We have a number of extra domains which we have purchased to protect our brand. Most of them we just redirect to our main website but some are connected to other digital assets like the Google site.
  
  For some search terms, 4, 5 or 6 positions on page 1 are taken up by our website and other digital assets including our GBP site.
