  • Shivanshu Baweja: Christine Hansen Thank you for your response. I commented inline.

    - Not targeting your ideal customer SB: not sure, if ranking for the keywords, I think we should get CTR too. Maybe the bounce rate can be high but CTR should be there.- Thereby using a wrong SEO strategy SB: maybe, trying to figure out this. - Incomplete titles and meta descriptions SB: This is the first thing that came to my mind. I will change these and see if I get some good results. Thank you.- Boring titles and meta descriptions SB: Same as above- Boring unoriginal content and marketing strategy SB: Same as above- Fluctuation in ranking because of low performing webpages SB: For this, I will investigate GSC data in more detail.

I will keep you posted about my changes and results in the same thread.

  • Anjali Mrig: Shivanshu Baweja Usually, if your traffic is good but your clicks are not - there`s a reason for it that preceded the user going to the website and then having an opinion on it.

Have you maybe tested variations of meta descriptions? Are they offering what the users want? Are your titles "clickbaity" and/or clickable? Or are they merely there for SEO?

Do they entice interest/curiosity/confidence in what they are about to read?

Also, are you covering topics that your competitors are or filling a gap that existed in that space through your content and offering real value?

  • Boyd Trimmell: Shivanshu Baweja CRO isn`t about getting good traffic. It is about getting the visitor to take some action (Convert) once they get on your site.

Your issue is people don`t want to click on your listing in the SERP.
