  chiejoung poon: Don't look at PR but create quality relevant content for your audience/ target instead.
  
  The PR hasn't been updated for 6 months now by Google. So it's hard to determine what the actual PR is.
  
  Also check the DA/PA (domain/page authority) of a source of a source to determine the quality of a backlink.

  Stefano Tosolini: Page Rank is the measure of how much Link Juice your backlinks are passing to your site. So, if you want to increase it, you need to have backlinks from authoritative websites with high Page Rank. Remember that it's not the quantity which matters but the quality of the backlinks.
