Captchas slow down our ability to accomplish things. Studies have shown people are more likely to spend money on sites that make the user experience easier. In fact, the study showed people will pay a higher price for a better experience. The most apprehensive generation around tech the boomers has the highest spending habits of anyone online. Amazon has 1 click checkouts and lightning fast load times. You know exactly what you are getting and how long it will take to get to your house all on a single page. Our job as SEOs is to connect and structure sites to get the most value from a business so the searcher gets what they want while everyone benefits. Most major sites have recaptchas but the old school captchas with the numbers should absolutely not be used anymore. They waste our time and frustrate users.
