Changing Company Name for SEO

i hope someone can help me regarding SEO, i just like to ask a few questions Currently the name of my company is RedEye Production, I`m thinking of maybe changing it to see if will help later on in regards to SEO, i tried RedEye Media, RedEye Media Production but of course I`m sure there will be other people with that site already. I`m in Singapore, the other sites are located elsewhere in the world. Worst comes to worst I may think of changing the company name entirely. I do photography, videography and graphic designs. The goal is to have my company name high up in the search engine of course. Can someone help to answer my questions?

Steve Gerencser: Altering the name of your company, or your branding, should NEVER be an SEO decision. Branding is incredibly important, as is your name, and choosing one simply because it may make a search engine "happy" is a terrible way to name your company. SEO is made up of so many moving parts that any one element will not have enough effect (in 99.9% of the cases) that it should not be a part of your naming decision. Maybe in the domain name you choose, but not your company name. Choose a name that 1. speaks to YOU and 2. may be memorable to your CLIENTS. Search engines are neither of these things.
