Can Google Bots see the hidden content in accordions?

Just curious...Can the Google Bots see the hidden content when you use Q & A accordions? The answers are hidden from public view until it is clicked on .I wondering if this is hurting my SEO and keywords, etc.

Micah Fisher-Kirshner: Depends on the implementation. If it`s in the html, Google can see it, however, Google will not value that content much, if at all.* *please note that this is currently based on desktop factors. If and when Google switches to a mobile only index, then this may change.
Michael Stricker: Consider that a good Q & A that is well-formatted LI or UL can be a good candidate for Answerboxes. Why hide?
Adam John Humphreys: There is a lot of ranking accordians but it`s because of the queried content above. I suspect painful ads and annoying UX creates a high bounce rate. Do what`s best for the end user but be sure to test it. Always be testing
