Would it be OK to have some content-less pages?

Would it be OK to have some content-less pages?

We`re about to launch a website with many tools. They`re usually self explanatory and are useful to users without any accompanying content, but of course we`re writing nice articles for all of them.

The thing is, we have 120 tools ready, but content is lagging behind. I`d say we`ll have 60% of them ready at launch. My plan was to simply not publish those contentless tools until the content is ready, but I`d rather give users more tools to play with right away.

Can I get in trouble if I have 40% of my pages with just titles and a few words (labels in tools` forms)?

  • Federico Sasso: How about noindex them until they are ready?
(and of course remember to remove the noindex when they are)
  • Mateusz Mucha: +Federico Sasso: sounds interesting, didn't cross my mind. Can you think of any disadvantages of it? For example, is it possible I'll have problems to get these pages indexed when I remove the noindex meta tag?
  • Federico Sasso: Not really :)
