Apart from schema thing what can be done to enhance it`s visibility in serps.

Edwin Jonk: Content. Blog about what the director/authors produced before. Is it similar or what is his/her style. Link within the main content to the product page, but do not annoy your users. Giving away swag, like t-shirts, caps.

The key with these things is timing. Namely if you do that too soon, nobody will be interested. If you do it too late, people may have bought their tickets elsewhere.
