Will paid ads on yp.com help me rank better ORGANICALLY on Google and Bing SERP?

  Say you advertise as a "plumber in Corby"  ;instead of you ranking for a "plumber in corby"  ;the yp site does, with your details.
  
  I am not saying this will happen, but it does happen very often for search terms where a yp listing has greater weight then the local sites that are appearing.
