  • Harry Dance: Hi Rahul, Schema s are mark up text. So, it is something which allows you to personally show area's on your webpage you think is important for google to know anout. I.e if you have had any recommendations you can highlight them or prices of products.

    Once you highlight the designated text, it can lead to Google dynamically changing your Serp results for different phrases/ keywords. This can allows a significant increase in CTR.

    If you have word press there are plenty of plugins which will allow you to mark up text on each page.

    Give me a shout if you want to know any more ;
  • rankyaseoservices: This is one area which I feel must be considered for all website owners, rich snippets. Google supports some of the schema markup products/localBusiness etc. You can find out more here:

    To be honest with you, there are many information on the subject of Google and Rich snippets, but I have spent quite a bit of time on it learning it, and I can tell you that you have to pull your sleeves up and do bit of research about it because it is very complex to master it because each element of the markup has too many properties which can be utilized according to the website and content within it. So one size fits approach isn't the best way to master it.
    I would like to draw your attention to this website and its source code:
    www. rankya. com. au and see how I marked it up using schema. If you are thinking about local business markup then this video is a must to watch which includes the schema vocabulary on LocalBusiness markup:

    I hope this helps.
    P.S if you want to truly utilize this for WordPress, then you have to locate the editor and modify the core pages (dives/nav) etc. for example:
    <body> can have a scope of Blog if you have a blog, then nav menu can have scope of sitenavigation menu, if products? Then you have to locate the div elements (ul, li if you have them) which blurts out your products and mark it up accordingly. Anyhow, Google makes the whole process easy to do and accomplish, simply check out their help section.
