Traffic From Search A Quality Indicator?

I`m not exactly certain that John Mueller answered the question as it was intended, but I`m going to report it anyway.

The way I interpreted the question was with respect to mature sites; not new sites, and, in my opinion, that question was not answered, or was vaguely referenced in the first paragraph. In the beginning of the second paragraph, he creates a dependency on first paragraph content to the rest of the explanation (new sites); therefore rendering the "mature site" vague explanation moot (US moot; not UK moot.) Google: Traffic From Search A Quality Indicator? Not Necessarily.
