Hey all I am working on a travel site, which covers most of Europe. There will be country pages which lead to city pages.
I have been told that creating a geographic navigation for search engine crawlers would work well to ensure all the pages get indexed by the search engines. Just wondering if you have any thoughts on this?
Should the country pages be part of the main navigation or footer? There is a map which links to all locations would this work?
I`m thinking of putting links to some of the top country pages on the home page, this will update periodically. The country pages will then drill down to the city pages.
Just wondering how the navigation should work for search engines to be able to crawl and index all the country and city pages?
Any thoughts welcome.
