Can linking to Gambling or Casino Site can be treated as Spam?

Can linking to Gambling or Casino Site can be treated as Spam. I have a blog with 7 post/Article. All of them are original content.. (no bots) out of 7. One of the Article contains link to casino Site.. few days later after publishing 7th post with casino like I received manual spam action for that particular blog.

Main Question is - Is single link pointing to casino site is responsible for manual spam.

Vishal Verma: question is "only one link can cause manual spam action". Or it is just a mistake in algorithm..
