Should I wait to see if Google makes changes?

Hi,
Just one last question about local SEO.  I have finally received my PIN from Google in the mail (it took almost 4 weeks!) but then I read this article by +Jaana Nyström and I am confused about whether I should verify my address and migrate my old local listing to my new places for business listing? The new Google places for business does not support mobile service businesses as yet - only bricks & mortar operations. I am a mobile service and I want to appear in places listings outside my local area.  Jaana seems to think I should wait and see if Google makes some changes. What`s your advice? Google+ profile or business page?
