SEO Questions community has been missing from G+ search

SEO Question.

Do you have any idea why this community (SEO Questions) is locked out of a "community" search on G+ for "SEO"?? It`s not normally excluded but over the past few weeks it`s been missing randomly. It usually legitimately occupies the number three spot. Ideas?

  • Jim Munro: SEO Question.

Do you have any idea why this community (SEO Questions) is locked out of a "community" search on G+ for "SEO"? It's not normally excluded but over the past few weeks it's been missing randomly. It usually legitimately occupies the number three spot. Ideas?
  • McGuire Movers: I find it at #5 at this moment.

    Edited:
Oops! In community, or in Google+?
  • Jim Munro: That is very interesting, +McGuire Movers. Were you using anonymous browsing? If it is not too much trouble, would you have time to link a screenshot here?
  • Jim Munro: Please right-click on the linked image above, +McGuire Movers ;and select "open link in incognito window" and tell me if you can see this community.
  • McGuire Movers: Sorry, +Jim Munro, I don't see this community viewing it that way (without cookies, cache history, etc.).

It wasn't this community that I saw. I was wrongly thinking the image (the linked image above)  ;was this community. Too many communities and g+ pages using similar images.

When I search for "seo communities" this is the url of the results page:
    https://plus.google.com/u/0/s/seo%20communities/communities

This community, SEO Questions, shows in the 10 (?) spot (the 2nd from the left in the 3rd row down - going from top to bottom 3rd row).

Is that what you are referring to?
  • Jim Munro: Wow - thank you for all the effort, mate. I appreciate that you would take the trouble. "SEO" is the keyword we're concerned about, it's as if our community is being actively blocked from appearing for "SEO"
  • McGuire Movers: Hi again, +Jim Munro.

I see now that I was using the wrong search field. I find all this Google+, Google communities, Google My Business, etc., etc. so confusing. I can't keep up with it all.

I hope that I'm not wasting your time but now that I figured out how to search in communities (as well as using the correct search term "SEO"), I do see this community now occupying the #3 spot (top row, 3rd from the left), as per this URL for that search result:
    https://plus.google.com/u/0/s/seo/communities

And I  ;do see the same result by clicking on the image link above, in both normal browser (chrome, logged in,  ;as shown in URL in above paragraph) as well as when I open the link in incognito window, as per in this URL:
    https://plus.google.com/s/seo/communities

But I guess that you see it not there, randomly. I will check again later if that is of any help.

Again, sorry for my confusion. I hope this post is more helpful.

At least I'm seeing it in the 3rd spot, though!

    Cheers!
  • Masatake Wasa (wasaweb): Still there at #3 for both signed-in and incognito: https://goo.gl/photos/sTRF6dFd7CY192Wr6
  • Dave Elliott: there for me at #3 as well Jim, on incognito.
  • Randy Milanovic: I find that in the NEW GPlus, results are limited, but in the "Classic" mode, I see all communities.
