  • Federico Sasso: Sorry +Debdatta Basu ;I didn't quite catch what you mean. Can you please elaborate with an example?
  • Debdatta Basu: Thank you +Federico Sasso for your question. By negative keyword I mean the keywords that are not related to our product or site. For e.g. we sale branded LED Lights but don't offer price list. Like we are selling Philips LED bulbs or Wipro LED bulbs, but when someone is querying for Wipro LED pricelist or Osram LED price it showing our site in organic search which is increasing bounce rate. I don't want to show my site in such query. As we have something like this in Adwords, so is there anything like this for SEO?
  • Federico Sasso: +Debdatta Basu ;I'm afraid no, there's no way to do that in organic results.
I wouldn't be worried about the bounce rate per-se, though, it's not going to hurt your SEO efforts.
  • Debdatta Basu: Yup. True +Federico Sasso. sometimes it becomes difficult to analyse data. I have downloaded the data of query from GA and working on 4000 query right now. it's becoming difficult to segment the data according to product or category. There are so many queries that are not at all related to our site but driving traffic to our site. like elite 440, 25x4, and it also becoming hard for to analyze the data. Can you kindly help on this?
  • Federico Sasso: +Debdatta Basu ;not much: I myself deal with the same issues manually. In my experience unrelated keywords usually don't get much volume and can be filtered based on thresholds. I mainly notice names like those for image search, if that helps.
  • Debdatta Basu: +Federico Sasso thank you for your suggestion. we are on the same boat :) . Let's see when Google do something good for us.
