Same keywords in multiple blog posts

Is it negatively going to effect my rankings if I have the same keywords in multiple blog posts? For example, let`s say I want to rank for:"marketing company"Naturally, that keyword will be throughout the site.I have a series of keywords that need a ranking boost.Do I create multiple posts using that or just one? What happens when they naturally overlap?

  • Josh Levenson: As long you`re cover different topics or different angles, it probably helps.
  • Mari Sa: Okay thanks!
  • Michael Martinez: Don`t get bogged down worrying about the details of where your keywords are. Use them according to the needs of each post/page. Think about fulfilling unique needs/purposes with every piece of content you create.
  • Mari Sa: Thank you.
  • Ben Adler: Nope it`s fine. Google has moved away from exact keywords in the traditional sense and is a lot more focused now on understanding search intent and what your pages are actually about
  • Arthur Thomas: The term for this iskeyword cannibalization”. Read up on that for a more precise answer.
  • Michael Martinez: Don`t read up on "keyword cannibalization". It`s largely nonsense. There are a few cases where the wrong page appears above another, but nothing is being cannibalized. You can have 2 or more pages rank for the same keyword. And that is often a very desirable search engine optimization goal.
