  #google   #seo   #googlesearchquality

If only 13% of the Google SERP is organic

  • Brent Wildman: Also depends on how big your screen is :p

A better question would be, what percentage of people actually click on the PPC ads? Sidebar? Organic Results?
  • Technology in Business: +Brent Wildman yes but if only 15% of the listings are now organic for whatever reason its not good for the future of SEO, because its far from the days when 80% of were organic....
  • Justin Y: This isn`t the first time this has happened. Just think about when G launched the pack 7. I think we all just have to adapt to the change once again.
  • Justin Y: the pack 7 are the local results in SERPs that started pushing organic results further down long after PPC ads. When I say change, I mean working around it. When the pack 7 happened I think most of us SEOs and digital marketers adapted to that change and started to put our attention more towards optimizing for local queries. As mentioned above, I too believe this change is all about providing more relevant results. I also think that semantic search will be playing a bigger role with this change. I could be wrong though. :)
