What`s the best way for e-commerce site (with large amount of product pages) that google index pages more quickly? Sitemap is the only one option?

Tony McCreath: Are you talking about a website that generates many new products per day?

Recently googler +John Mueller talked about PubSubHubub being a fast way for indexing.

First you need an rss feed listing your latest products. Then you add the PubSubHubub service to it so subscribers (like hopefully google) can get instant notification on new pages.
Tony McCreath: Another angle could be to look at bot activity in your server log and see if there is a pattern. Maybe the home page gets recrawled frequently so putting new products on there will help discovery
