Alan Bleiweiss: I use the GSC version for testing, as that is the official webmaster resource. However, in this case, if the only difference is one issue, and correcting that one issue resolves the conflict, it`s worth the effort.
Alex C Barr: Both same rest I use the old one as it gives more info and the only reason I use it is to send in a report, if you just want to know but don`t care about the report check out the chrome extension https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/mobile-friendly-checker/gmfflfmdcdecdonfogdofmomfhiabaeg?hl=en
