  • Jim Munro: I doubt it. It`s a H1. It`s already supposed to be the most relevant element of your page.
  • Neil Cheesman: This isn`t a relevant signal.... Silvio Berlusconi was bold and Italycised and he did okay...
  • Jim Munro: Aaah but wasn`t Berlusconi`s secret continual fresh content under an aged domain, Neil Cheesman?
  • Neil Cheesman: I believe Berlusconi also disavowed a few links in a scandalous situation...
  • Steve Wiideman: Only if you set the font size to 42px inline, but 16px in the style sheet, and use a margin-right of -3000px. All kidding aside, on page signals mean so much less than behavioral signals in this decade. I would focus on your CRO tests, constantly be improving UX, and live and breathe in user experience testing (even if using just mturk).
  • Steve Gerencser: It also helps to make it a garish color that conflicts with the color scheme.of the website ?
  • Jim Munro: Yes but it wasn`t the disavow tool that got him into trouble...
  • Dan Thies: No. Bold, strong, italic, em... will be completely ignored.
  • Neil Cheesman: No... but did he have the right kind of protection?
