58, 955 rogue URLs that shouldn`t even be indexable
Heads up if you are new to SEO, or don`t understand yet, the complexity of how search engines need all the help they can get to "figure it all out":
Site with 11k product SKUs, and yet has 70k URLs indexed:
So far, DeepCrawl has found
25, 562 302 Redirect URLs (sampling I checked are still indexed)
17, 893 non-redirecting duplicate pages
15, 500 "filter" URLs without a proper canonical tag back to the main category pages
So in just one crawl with DeepCrawl, and five minutes exploring the data, I have identified 58, 955 rogue URLs that shouldn`t even be indexable.
