Hello everyone...out of curiosity, if a keyword / keyword phrase is put into a "bitly" link do you think it would work as an anchor text?

Paul Thompson: No, anchor text is in the href code, not the link URL itself.
Dawn Anderson: And bear in mind if you use Google`s short links they are going away. I know you mention Bitly but just in case you decided to use goo.gl shortlinks

Maria Patterson: Just googled and saw they are discontinuing. Thanks for the heads up as I have one client that uses them
