How schema and reviews go together?

Hello Everyone. Self appointed Semi Noob here !! - I have my art website and i also have an Etsy shop. My question is - As i have over 120 - 5 star reviews on Etsy shop - and whilst my website has over 130 products on it - I was wondering What is the best way to implement those onto my website. Should i have one page dedicated to reviews/testimonials or should i add one review to the bottom of every one of my product pages. or both ?
I`m also considering implementing schema on my site and im curious how schema and reviews go together.
Thank you all in advance :)

  • Alan Bleiweiss: If you have reviews for individual products, it`s best to put them on each product page accordingly. Do not use Schema for reviews you copy from Etsy because that is a Google violation. Ideal scenario is to get new reviews just for the web site. If you do that, you can use Schema on those.
  • Craig Anthony: wow - thats interesting. Would it still be a violation if i did use the etsy revews, but i set them to no follow/disavow
  • Alan Bleiweiss: Craig you can still display them. You just can`t use Schema on them because they are not original on the web site.
  • Craig Anthony: Alan Bleiweiss and now i understand - thank you for the information Alan :)
  • Craig Anthony: Alan Bleiweiss would it be ok to to use GMB reviews instead ? or am i missing the point ?
  • Alan Bleiweiss: Craig using GMB reviews also can be done if they were first on GMB, but again - do not use Schema on the copy that is on your site. Google violation.
  • Craig Anthony: right - i do get it now. When people purchase my one off handmade pieces from my site - it takes them to etsy to purchase it. It is there that all reviews are left. So your reply leads me to believe i need to implement a way for people to leave reviews...Lihat Lainnya
  • Michael Stricker: Trusted review aggregation services are a staple of eCommerce. Revoo, TrustPilot and the like can be expensive, but Google trusts their Schema and collection of reviews to be fair, and they will add up to the threshold set by Google before aggregate ra...Lihat Lainnya
  • Craig Anthony: Michael Stricker I loved the last point - thats a great idea !Well i just googled Trusted Review Aggreator and i found this snippet - " (an alternative is to screenshot your reviews on external sites and paste the screenshot onto your own site, but that looks far from impressive to visitors)."...Lihat Lainnya
