Get indexed faster

I don`t write alot of new content for my site. Maybe once every 2 months. If I publish a new article, is there anything I need to do to get the search engine to index it faster?

Khurram Aziz: Honestly, i wouldn`t bother with that. Google will get to it eventually. It`s taking longer and longer now, but submitting to crawlers and other options won`t actually make much difference
