Is this still recommended for an html sitemap? When would someone use "noindex, follow" in a robots meta tag? (I see this on Google HTML Sitemap Generator Plugin by Arne Brachhold and not sure how to make it indexed.) Having created an html sitemap - what do you do with it? simply place a link on the website as Fetch or fetch and render surely won`t work in GSC?

Alan Bleiweiss: It can be helpful for a site with more than a few pages in sections, yet not for large sites if you try to link to "all the things". Except if site navigation is well thought out and organized, it`s redundant.
