In blogger, there is an option show author`s Google+ profile as writer.

Please guide me... +SEO In blogger, there is an option show author`s Google+ profile as writer. But when I added this it webmaster says it seems to be Publisher, so will not be visible in snippets. Why? What to do?
It also confirms that #publisher data is not yet shown in search results
