What can i do if my brand`s name equals a product name?

Hi, what can i do if my brand`s name equals a product name? For example, my brand is mimetix and there is a pharmaceutical product called mimetix. As this product is sold in many shops its quite popular. Would it be a good idea to buy another domain and do a 301 redirect to mimetix(dot)com??

  • Blake Smith: +Mimetix The rel publisher markup is your friend. You want to utilize it, and G+ to it's utmost. Send as many signals as you can that you are a brand. Vast social signals definitely help. You would be better off investing money into devolping brand signals than additional domains
  • Mimetix: +Blake Smith ;ty vm, i am using the pubisher tag. But there must be something really wrong with my website because i don't appear in Google in the first 20 pages for a keyword different than my company name. ;
