I plan to add a WordPress blog beside my web site

Hello Guys,
I plan to add a WordPress blog beside my web site, and i need some technical help in your side .Should i locate the blog as a sub-domain like blog.site.com or add new folder after the web site root like site.com/blog .I have also some questions that i belive will came after adding blog to my site as following;
Do i need to submit the blog sitemap again to Google web master beside the first sitemap of my root domain ?
Do i need to change any thing on robrot.txt ?
woud i face any problem if Google bot will detect 2 sitemap and 2 robots in my domain ?
what is the best option should i follow concerning adding blog to my root domain ?

  • Ben Berzai: Don't use a sub domain. Use the structure alternative.
  • PromozSEO: Go with the subfolder structure, it will help in overall SEO. You can submit multiple sitemap files for a single domain. No problem.
