  Mike Cooke: this is just a general question, I have a client who can't remember the details for his old google account, which has the WMT in with all the link data I need to clean the profile up. There is no chance of getting this account back for a multitude of reasons however we have created a new google account for him and wondered how long it would take for link data to start filtering through as at present there is none. That is my first question, in anyones experience how long does it take for the data to filter through. My second was an alternative to WMT  ;I was just gonna use moz but is there a better one for getting all links harvested.

  Dave Elliott: majestic is my favorite link thingy. Much better than moz(although moz has lots of additional features and is a better, cheap all rounder)
  
  Think wmt will start giving you data after 24 hours or so
