I need clarification on SEO for blog comments

Hello Everyone...I need clarification on blog comments. I have over 300 comments on one page and I`ve been given different advice on what to do with them. For instance.... 1. paginate them but yet Google see`s it as duplicate pages. 2. Leave them all on one page but yet it slows down the page. 3. Un-index the comments but that is valuable content that can be picked up by Google for long tail terms. So, does anyone know the right approach for this? Appreciate any advice. Thank You.

  • Alan Bleiweiss: If you do this, and when you do it if you do not include the original blog post on the subsequent comment pages, there`s no concern for duplicate content. And for usability you don`t want that original blog post on every page either - it gets in the way of reading all the comments on each paginated page.
