Ashish Ahuja: no follow will not stop google from going to the link. The best way would be to redirect using a sub-directory and banning google bot to that directory using htaccess.
Ashish Ahuja: robots.txt is also not effective every time if any external website is linking to that direct page. I have seen links with noindex nofollow and robots.txt blocked still showing up in google index

Jeff Smith: structure your URLs to be able to disallow them via robots.txt. Add rel nofollow for extra measure. You will be fine. ;
