Why am I outranked by lower PR, higher alexa rank, lower keyword density?

  W.E. Jonk: You probably don't want to hear this but I think you have bigger issues then your competitors' site. I wouldn't be surprised if you are in some sort of manual penalty.   Jackson Ertel: As above it appears there are issues you want to look at within your own site first.
  
  On top of that:
  PR is only an indicator of authority and doesn't directly translate to positioning.
  Them having higher Alexa indicates they are getting traffic from somewhere so interested where without links.
  Meta description DOES NOT influence position, it's to improve conversion from SERPs.
  Keyword density is not all that important and can potentially hurt as much as help.

  Lori Eldridge: I haven't looked at your site, however, Google has about 200 ranking factors that affect a website now and the ones you mentioned  ;(PR,  ;alexa rank, keyword density, meta description, backlinks) have very little influnce any more unless you over do keyword density or get spammy backlinks. Also Alexa rank is only effective if everyone has the Alexa toolbar installed and very few do. Social has a strong effect on ranking now so that needs to be a big focus and participating in Google communities helps a lot.
