Accurate, quick, reasonably priced rank tracking tool

Can you recommend a good (accurate, quick, reasonably priced) rank tracking tool? We`re specifically looking for one that includes Google Webmaster / Search Console integration, and keyword tagging / grouping.

This will allow us to show our clients `for this group of keywords, there is this much estimated monthly search volume, and you got that many visits`.

Thanks in advance!

  • Jann Grond: Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe you can see it in the search console.
  • Dave Elliott: Advanced web ranking is the best of the cheap ranking checker i have found. think it is about $50 p.m for the the basic package.

Or moz which does a hell of a lot more and starts at $99 p.m i think.

;SEM rush is always worth a look at as it does some VERY good things...although i find the rank tracking one of its worst features :( that runs $70 p.m I think.

All  ;can be bettered when you start getting to the more expensive packages & need to scale things up though! Lindex for example, is  ;awesome, but doesn't have many features (it is purely for ranking tracking and estimated traffic levels etc, but does exactly what you want it to!) and starts at £600 p.m
  • Ned Wells: Hi Dave, thanks for this. So far, Linkdex is the only package I've used that provides the functionality we're looking for: being able to group or tag keywords and get actual visits as a percentage of search volume for a particular group. But we can't afford it!

Rankwatch do a good job but I was wondering what else was out there at a similar price point. Moz are developing this functionality but don't do it yet

Rankwatch (www.rankwatch.com) do a good job but I was wondering what else was out there at a similar price point. Moz are developing this functionality but don't offer it yet. I don't think AWR do it but I'll go back and check

Hi Jann, yes this information is available in Google Search Console, but we want to be able to do it for specific keyword groups, not for the whole lot. Downloading it to a spreadsheet gets very time consuming which is why I'm looking for some alternatives.
  • Dave Elliott: Have a look at cognitiveSEO . I'm fairly sure with a bit of effort you can tag the keywords in 'campaigns' which might jdo the job!

I haven't learned how to use it yet(its on the list), but there are a few people here who swear by it.
  • Dave Elliott: ooh also ;authority labs. That isn't bad.
  • Ned Wells: +Dave Elliott ;yep good call. I looked at Cognitive a while back but not recently, and they're developing ti quite quickly. Thanks again

Ah ok, got it. Try this one: https://en.onpage.org/product/tour/impact/
  • Ned Wells: +Jann Grond ;Hey this looks great. Thanks Jann I'll definitely take a more detailed look round. Thanks again.
  • Niscoveanu Florin: You can also try this one ;http://seomonitor.com/ (I think it's around $100/month). It worked very good for me.
  • Ned Wells: +Niscoveanu Florin ;thanks for pointing out this one, I'd not come across it before. Looks like it has all the functionality we've been looking for. Thanks again!
