Why publish a blog on Google+?

I`ve gathered that it`s not a good idea to publish a blog from my web site on LinkedIn, as Google doesn`t like repeated content. But, I don`t understand why it is recommended to publish the blog on Google+. Surely, it`s still repeated information. ?

SEMXE: You shall only share it on Google+ (even on other networks) so to reach maximum number of people who wants to read it. Don't copy paste your blog's full content body - that's not recommended anywhere.
WebFoot Designs, Inc.: Post a condensed version, maybe just a description of the post and a link, to social media.
Alan Renberger: It also makes sense to keep up your posts on Google+. ;I have found that improving your rankings there is another tool to make sure your information is found and you are ranked well as an author.
