  Nebojsa Djukic: Content from my pages is copied and now appears on many different websites. Pieces of my content are in Youtube video descriptions, Pinterest, many strange, spammy websites... ;
  
  Should I rewrite all my articles that appears on other websites? Does Google know that these articles belong to my site or all my copied articles are now duplicate content?

  Mursel Kukic: That's a tricky question, google should have already indexed your content. That would consider the other content as duplicate.
  
  Don't rewrite your stuff, they are the crooks.
  
  I would go as far as contacting the admins and asking them to take those pages down.
  
  I have never done it before, but there are ways to protect your property
  
  Consider adding alerts to your google account. That way you can keep tabs on who's stealing.

  Nebojsa Djukic: My content was initially indexed on my pages, but later it was scrapped by some "article" websites. Also it now appears on Youtube and Pinterest (as video and image description).
  
  Google ranks YT and Pinterest better than my pages when I search for my own content...
  
  So, my question is - If I rewrite my content and make it unique again will my website perform better in Google? ;

  Thank you for your participation here. You can report scrapers. I think it's worth the effort. It may not work immediately but it's worked in the past for dumbseoquestions(dot)com.. :)

  Ljubomir Tesic: I have the same problem but after few complains to Google i give up they still rank duplicate content as original and i can only find my original website in omitted search (duplicate website is a part of bigger website with PR 6)

  Jim Munro: That is a DMCA report. In essence it is a take-down notice for a nominated page/pages and is no use against the page they post tomorrow. I am not an expert but I think that if people are scraping your content and appearing above you in results, you would be better off using this link.

  Jim Munro: If your page is indexed then it must be below your scraper if you are seeing theirs first. Are you saying that your page, the original page, is not indexed at all?

  Ljubomir Tesic: They just remove one page and thats it. All other pages ranks better then my original pages, or rank insted of my pages. SEO, links, website age ... Who cares? Its all fake. Who pays for google ads he ranks better even with stolen content.
