URL not allowed in sitemap

SEO Question: My Magento website sitemap is clean..and all URls are working fine but When i added it to google webmaster tool its showing issue "URL not allowed" (Description: This url is not allowed for a Sitemap at this location.) ? ? Please anybody help me how I can resolve this issue ?

Dave Elliott: Whenever i have had this its been because i accidentally included a link to anther domain in my sitemap....could even be one of yours but without the www or similar.
