Two separate wordpress installations.

here is a interesting question I have had a designer rebuild a site for me in wordpress, it was in php. The original php site had two main sections one in english and another in polish. My designer had redesigned the site in two separate wordpress installations. Is there a problem with two separate wordpress installations on the same hosting space even if the sites look as one.? I would appreciate advise?

  • Ligatures.Net: I guess your question pertains to SEO. If so, and if some of your English content is translated in Polish and vice-versa, make sure you implement hreflang properly to avoid duplicate content issues.
  • Ayman Albarbary: From SEO perspective, your website should be absolutely fine. I did the same thing with one of my clients, and had no issues at all. As +Ligatures.Net ;mentioned, make sure to apply hreflang tags not only to avoid duplicate content but also to show relevant search results to your audience.
