Switch domain without loosing ranking

Hello everyone,

I need some help here regarding SEO.

One of my client have a french version of a website using .com extension with Wix and asked me to redo it with WordPress in .fr
The site is already indexed by google and ranking on 1st page for some keywords.

Once this is done I`m gonna use the .com to create the english version.

What is the best way to do that without loosing the actual ranking knowing that I`m gonna use it too to create an english version of the site in another wordpress install?
